Topp 20 2015

Så var det dags. Årets Topp 20 i Jennys lackvärld.

As promised - here is the Top 20 of 2015. These are my new favourites as shown this year. The top picture ia all of them with their matching object, an then a closer look of them individually with links to the original post.

Gott nytt år! A very happy new year!

Julnaglar: Butter London, Chancer

So. I didn't really plan to show the Christmas nails, but since this is the first time since October I took pictures of my manicure for the blog I thought it was worth celebrating. The promised Top 20 will come up in a day or two.
I had planned for any other colour but red for this Christmas since I was planning on a wearing a red dress. But then I thought the dress was way too fancy for the occasion and thus my nails turned red - as usual.
Chancer from Butter London is one of those beautiful reds with glass fleck shimmers that turn into awesomeness with the right light. It goes from pretty to beautiful and an almost unexpected depth shows itself. Is this 3D?
Two coats, easily applied. I dries quickly but a bit on the matte side so the shine is mostly Seche vite. Matching with a Christmas-flower. Is this called amaryllis in English as well? Let me know!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, if that's what you celebrate,  and that 2016 will bring you all nothing but joy and happiness.

Update and "this just in"!

I'll keep this post in English, because I'm too lazy do to a translation today.

So hi! How've you been? All well I hope.
Since my last post six weeks ago, I've been thinking a bit about this blog, but not too much to be honest. I felt like I said "so long" for the wrong reasons, and with the wrong mindset and I also felt that I needed to take some time to re-evalute my reasons for keeping this blog.
Mainly - I need to find the joy again. And a way to do that I think is for me to stop thinking about what other people - you - might want to see here and concentrate on what makes me happy. If you don't like this blog and it's content well... "These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along."

I will continue to blog about nail polish, but I might wait until the new year to do that first post with a new polish. There will be a Top 20 at the end of the year, but until then I think I'll lay low.
I will be making posts with polishes I've already shown. Polishes revisited so to say.
And I might not match all my polishes anymore simply because I don't always find something good to match with and a revisited polish don't necessaraly need a new match.

One of the reasons I want to keep blogging here is because I got my hands on all of the Skyfall-polishes. If you follow me on Instagram you already knew this since I've already shown them there. What can I say - Black Friday sales was good for some things.

So - I'll be back in a little while, and I'll do a Top 20 before I bombard you with the Skyfall collection just because I can.

Merry whatever you celebrate, sweethearts!

So yes - they are shown in the same order as the films came out.
