I got a bit overwhelmed when my favourite colour was a part of the Golden Oldie Challenge. Which one of my beauties should I choose? But then reality came along and instead of a red week there is today's contribution, which is also my contribution to Sminkan and Emma's in-official HoloFriday, and I have one more red lined up for the weekend.
This is Nose so bright from Smitten polish, now Dreamland Lacquer. As the name tells us this was part of a Christmas collection and last time I wore it I matched it with a Christmast ornament, today it's unmatched.
This is a red holo. I used three coats and topcoat, but I missed the topcoat on my middlefinger. I decided to keep it that way to show the difference in both colour and holo effect. It is still a linear holo with topcoat on, but the effekt gets more subtle with topcoat. Since it dries quite quickly anyway you don't need the topcoat if you prefer in-your-face-holo.
My pictures was taken on a cloudy day early in the morning, so the lighting wasn't the best for a holo polish.
